Weather

Check out the weather ahead of time so you can figure out what time works best. If the temperatures are rising in your area, a morning picnic might be the move. It may also be wise to pack an umbrella or postpone if April showers are in the forecast.

Location

Your town is likely filled with great picnic spots, you just need to look out for them. Lakes, parks, and public gardens are relaxing environments with plenty of space to move around. Don’t worry about strangers invading your personal space, these places will give you plenty of room to breathe!

Activities

You’ll want to plan some sort of activity in addition to the food. Bring a football, soccer ball, and other games that will get you moving around to stay active. Enjoy your day under the sun and burn off some extra calories!

Having the proper supplies will ensure that you have the happiest picnic ever. Avoid burns and protect yourself against the suns rays by bringing plenty of sun block. You can also save yourself a few trips to the car and bring along this handy picnic basket! Complete with silverware and plates, this also has plenty of storage space for all of your food.

Food

No outing is perfect without a delicious meal to accompany it! Picnics are best or simple foods such as wraps, sandwiches, and easy to prepare sweets.
